Reading the script beforehand is extremely important. If it sounds like the creator is reading it for the first time in the video, it feels disingenuous. It’s also important to inflect to match the tone.

A method I’ve seen used often with vital TikToks is shock value. You say something surprising at the very beginning—something that pertains to the target audience—and then lead them into the “down-to-earth” material.
