I have a personal Reddit account but mainly use the platform for browsing and researching student, internship and part-time work communities rather than actively posting. Most of my experience comes from observing how students find opportunities, what questions they ask and what type of posts build trust and engagement.

Do you have experience using Reddit in a personal and/or professional setting? If yes, add details.
Yes, I use reddit both personally and professionally.
On personal level, I regularly use it to find part time work, internships and remote opportunities especially through student and job-focused communities. It's one of the few platforms where people share honest experiences, referrals and practical advice. And many other students rely on it for the same reasons.
Professionally, I have used Reddit to observe how different communities interact with brands, what type of content gets genuine engagement and how tone and transparency affect trust. That mix of being an actual user and understanding the platform dynamics helps me communicate in a way that feels natural rather than promotional.

How would you grow the H\FC community from scratch?
I would grow it by meeting students where they already are, in relevant subreddits, and adding real value through helpful posts about jobs, internships and remote work, not spam.
At the same time, I would keep H\FC’s own pages active with consistent, useful content and founder-style updates and bring in a small group of student creators to help seed the discussions and build credibility. Then I would double down on what actually drives engagement and sign-ups.
