Do you have experience working with Consumer Brands for TikTok and Instagram? If so, can you share your role, the biggest lesson you learned, and what you would do differently?
Yes, I have experience managing TikTok and Instagram accounts for consumer-focused brands. At HIT Living Foundation, I expanded our Instagram presence to 29.9k and a reach of 400k on TikTok. I created a content calendar, developed engaging videos, and used data analytics to refine strategies. The biggest lesson I learned was the power of authenticity—viewers resonate most with raw, relatable content over heavily polished posts. If I could do something differently, I’d focus more on testing trends early, as timing is crucial on fast-paced platforms like TikTok. This would have helped us capture viral moments even more effectively.

Can you describe a time when you successfully engaged with an online audience through social media?
At the dog rescue where I work, I created an Instagram post and reel to highlight Sandy Blue, an 8-week-old malinois/shepherd mix. By sharing her story and showcasing her playful personality, the content generated high engagement, including hundreds of comments and adoption inquiries. Through prompt responses and meaningful interactions with followers, we successfully increased visibility and helped Sandy Blue find her forever home.

How do you stay updated on the latest trends in the pet industry to create relevant content? -- Do you have a dog?
I stay updated on the latest trends by actively following industry publications, social media platforms, and influencers related to both pets and marketing. Working at a dog rescue has given me firsthand insights into what resonates with animal lovers and adopters. I combine this with trend research on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, where I monitor hashtags, viral content, and emerging topics.
