MUJI

what student housing (on or off campus) would you deliver mailers to first, and why?
I’d start with upperclassman housing, especially river houses like Kirkland, Leverett, Winthrop, and Eliot, because students there have more established routines and personal spaces where MUJI products naturally fit; desks, shelves, planners, and organization systems. They’re also more likely to notice and keep thoughtfully designed mailers rather than toss them.

How would you create content that reflects MUJI's brand style?
I’d create content that feels simple, intentional, and calm, letting the product speak for itself. I’d focus on clean visuals, neutral tones, natural lighting, and everyday moments that show how MUJI fits seamlessly into daily Harvard life: studying in Widener, organizing a desk in Lamont, journaling by the Charles, or resetting between classes. I’d show MUJI as part of students’ routines rather than the focus of the frame: notebooks during late-night problem sets, pens during section notes, storage for dorm desks. The content would feel calm and minimal, reflecting MUJI’s values while grounding it in the academic, reflective rhythm of Harvard.
