How would you approach promoting Uber's Back-to-School Activation to students?
I would approach promoting Uber’s Back-to-School Activation at Purdue by meeting students where they already are, both on campus and online. On campus, I’d create a strong presence in high-traffic areas like Memorial Mall or the Union with fun and interactive activities, giveaways, and easy-to-redeem ride codes to immediately get students engaged. I’d also highlight the ways Uber supports student life, whether it’s safe rides home at night, quick grocery trips, or affordable ways to get off campus. At the same time, I’d leverage social media platforms that Purdue students use daily, like Instagram, TikTok, and GroupMe, to share short, authentic content and encourage peers to use a campaign hashtag. Partnering with student organizations and Greek life would also help spread the word quickly and organically. My goal would be to make Uber feel like a convenient, safe, and student-friendly part of everyday campus life, especially as students settle back in for the semester.
