What orgs/sororities/clubs are you a part of on campus that you can tap for the event?
At the University of Houston, I serve on the executive boards of three organizations, each reflecting a different aspect of my passions and leadership. I’m a part of a multimedia and performance organization which I co-founded known as the R.E.D Poets Society. Its purpose is to help create spaces for artistic expression and campus engagement through creative programming. In the Black Student Union, we work to foster community, cultural awareness, and advocacy for Black students. As we plan many events not limited to: tablings, mixers, conferences, and off campus excursions. While in Alpha Epsilon Delta, the university’s pre-medical honor society, we organize: professional development opportunities, networking events, and service initiatives for aspiring healthcare professionals in areas of medicine. Additionally, I serve on this year's 2025–2026 Homecoming Board, where I help plan and coordinate one of the university’s largest and most extravagant traditions, bringing together students, alumni, and the broader UH community.

What makes you excited about representing the brand?
As a woman with 4b–4c hair, I’ve always been intentional about finding products and tools that truly work for my texture. I’m an avid product explorer—whether it’s trying out the latest deep conditioner or testing a new sweat-proof headband to preserve my silk presses. While it can be exciting to try new things, it’s rare to find a product that becomes a true staple in my routine.I still remember purchasing my first Tangle Teezer back in 2018 and being amazed at how quickly it became indispensable. Before then, I was hesitant about brushes because so many would snag, break, or simply not perform well with my hair. The Tangle Teezer changed that completely—it was gentle yet effective, multifunctional, and adaptable for every step of my routine. From detangling on wash days to chasing behind the blow-dryer, maintaining silk presses, and even brushing out wigs, it proved itself to be a tool I couldn’t live without. I knew it had become essential when I let someone borrow mine and immediately went out to buy a new one. That’s why I would be honored to represent a brand like this—one that not only understands and supports textured hair but also consistently innovates and evolves with its consumers. To me, being a brand ambassador is about more than visibility—it’s about genuinely connecting with a community, sharing products that make a difference, and representing a company that reflects authenticity, versatility, and trust. As a student leader at the University of Houston, I’ve built a strong presence through my involvement in multiple organizations and creative communities. Whether it’s through events, collaborations, or social platforms, I have the opportunity to connect with a diverse audience of students and young professionals who are always looking for products and brands they can trust. Partnering with me would mean not just representing your brand, but also creating authentic conversations and visibility within a vibrant and engaged community.
