I am also working on editing a Vlog of my most recent trip to Japan and posting that!

and also, my cousin has a YouTube channel and I have frequently been on her videos and anytime I’m in a video. It’s something we’ve collaborated on together with the ideas and filming!

What is a recent video concept or trend that you’ve seen on social media, and how would you apply it to Daybird?

One recent content trend I’ve been seeing on social media is motivational, self-improvement focused videos, especially with a “new year, new me” energy. Since it’s the start of 2026, many people have set resolutions and are now actively working toward putting them into action. I would apply this trend to Daybird by creating a relaxed “get ready with me” or sit-down chat style video centered around self-care. During the video, I’d talk about the importance of taking care of yourself your skin, your body, and your overall well-being. One of my own New Year’s resolutions is to wear SPF more consistently, which naturally ties into Daybird’s four-in-one serum skin tint. I’d highlight how the product makes daily routines easier by combining skincare, SPF, and makeup into one step, aligning with the idea that in 2026 we should be working smarter, not harder and simplifying our routines instead of making them more overwhelming.

I have many more ideas like this! That just create a word on FaceTime like setting to anyone who’s watching but also doesn’t get repetitive!

How do you stay updated on the latest social media trends and incorporate them into your content creation process? What are some of your favorite accounts to follow right now (doesn’t have to be a consumer brand)?

I stay updated on latest social media trends by focusing on stuff that is feel good content, but it’s authentic and relatable! to me what that looks like watching a video and it could literally be on anything but as long as I finish that video by feeling inspired, gratitude, energized/motivated or it just leaves some positive effect on me. I know that whatever that person did is something that I could definitely do/ try out myself because the emotion that it left me with could also be left on somebody else watching my own content (nobody would complain if they also left a video with a positive emotion after watching an interesting video)

some of my favorite accounts that I follow right now are

@natviolette

@monetmcmichael

@ameyaokamoto (and her sister’s accounts, Nadya and Issa)
