What is your favorite streaming platform and why?
I am NOT trying to win brownie points when I say this but my favorite streaming platform is Peacock. The reason is they can stream The Office. The Office has been my comfort show between me and my family since I was little. I was able to get through difficult times with my health and hard times in life with the show. When it was taken off Netflix I lost all hope! One day my boyfriend told me I should get Peacock because of the various shows they had and the live tv as well. I said, “okay ugh here's another streaming subscription.” When I tell you peacock can TAKE my money any day of the week because when I entered the platform I was met with the one show that feels like family and of course the World’s Best Boss welcoming me back ;)

When I was younger I suffered from acne and tried every product in the book. I would make face masks of green tea packets and ice my face any chance I could get. My acne at the time was a point of all eyes when I would meet people. When I say it was ROUGH I mean it was ROUGH. It got to a point where I felt I would be stuck with it so I told myself that I had to love myself and be my own best friend because that was the only way I could have my own back and progress. I spent days and hours working on myself and teaching the major lesson of self-love. Thankfully my skin cleared up after 6 months. Something my dermatologist told me would never happen and that I would “look like that” forever. I made it my mission to get the word out there that when you see another person going through acne or a health issue do not feel bad for them or make them feel any less. I also vowed that if in my goal of becoming a dermatologist or plastic surgeon I would NEVER tell a child or another person that they have only one option. My journey with acne created trust in those around me and they understood that acne is not a flaw. It is not something to judge a person on. It taught them the importance of acceptance and self-love because mental health and how you feel about yourself can heal you from the inside out.

Do you have experience organizing events on campus? If no, would you like to?
I have not had the chance to organize an event on campus yet due to covid restrictions. I would 100% love to organize one. I love putting in the effort and coming up with ideas and then getting to see it pay off with people's engagement. I always tell people I was born to host so being able to organize an event would be right up my alley.
