How long (Generally) does it take you to create a piece of video content?

It really depends on the type of video content I’m creating. For short-form content like TikToks or Instagram Reels, it usually takes me around 1 to 3 hours from start to finish, that includes brainstorming, filming, editing, and adding captions or effects. If it’s a trend-based video or something more casual, it can be quicker, maybe 30 minutes. But for more planned-out or polished content, especially if I’m scripting or doing multiple takes, it can take a bit longer. I like to be efficient, but I also make sure everything feels clean, on-brand, and engaging before posting, so I’d rather take the extra time than rush it.

How do you stay updated on the latest social media trends and adapt them into your content creation strategy?

To stay updated on the latest social media trends, I regularly follow platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter), paying close attention to what’s trending in audio, hashtags, memes, and visual styles. I also follow creators, brand accounts, and marketing pages that are quick to adopt or explain new trends. When something starts gaining momentum, I look at how it’s being used across different communities and then brainstorm how I can adapt it in a way that aligns with my brand, voice, or goals.
