What strategies would you use to generate buzz for a vegan beauty brand?

To generate buzz for a vegan beauty brand, I’d focus on storytelling, authenticity, and community connection. I’d start by creating content that highlights not just the products—but the why behind them: clean ingredients, cruelty-free values, and how they fit into a mindful lifestyle. Educating my audience in a fun, aesthetic way (like quick ingredient breakdowns, product vs. non-vegan comparisons, or “get ready with me” routines using all-vegan products) makes it both informative and relatable. I’d also build excitement through teaser videos, texture and swatch ASMR, and interactive posts like “guess the launch” or polls on packaging or shade names. Collaborating with other creators who share similar values would help amplify the message and reach audiences who already care about sustainability and conscious beauty.

How do you engage an online community around a product launch?

I love finding creative ways to build genuine excitement around a launch. I’d start by teasing it through aesthetic visuals, behind-the-scenes clips, and interactive story posts to get my audience curious. I like to make them feel part of the process—whether that’s having them guess what’s coming, helping me choose between packaging options, or showing little snippets of me using the product before it drops. On launch day, I’d treat it like an event—posting a short, eye-catching video that shows the product in action, how I’d personally use or style it, and why I’m excited about it. I’d also engage directly in the comments and repost my community’s reactions or duets to keep the energy going. After the launch, I’d highlight real feedback and keep creating content that shows the product in different ways, so it stays top of mind while continuing to feel authentic and community-driven.
