How do you approach making engaging UGC videos for product relaunches?
When I create UGC for a product relaunch, I start by understanding what’s new and why it matters — whether that’s a reformulation, new packaging, or a different target audience. I then design the video around a clear hook that immediately signals that change to the viewer, because the first few seconds are crucial for stopping the scroll. I approach relaunch content as a story rather than an ad. I typically highlight a relatable problem or familiar experience, introduce the updated product as the solution, and then show it in real use so it feels authentic and trustworthy. I focus on natural lighting, simple settings, and conversational delivery so the content feels native to platforms like TikTok or Instagram Reels. Finally, I think about how the brand can reuse the content. I often create multiple versions with different hooks or tones from the same shoot so the brand can test what resonates best for organic posts or paid ads. Overall, my goal is to make relaunch content feel fresh, credible, and genuinely exciting — not overly scripted or promotional.
