How do you stay updated on Instagram and TikTok trends?

I stay updated on Instagram and TikTok trends by actively using the platforms with intention, not just scrolling. I pay attention to recurring sounds, hashtags, formats, and editing styles that keep showing up on my For You page and Explore page. When I notice the same trend multiple times in a short period, I know it’s gaining traction.

I also follow a mix of creators, brands, and social media strategists who consistently break down trends and explain why they’re working. On top of that, I keep an eye on engagement—what’s getting shared, saved, and commented on—because that usually signals what content is resonating right now. This helps me adapt trends in a way that still feels authentic rather than forced.

What attracts you to influencer and social media marketing?

What attracts me to influencer and social media marketing is how personal and story-driven it is. Instead of feeling like a traditional ad, it allows brands to connect with people through real voices, authentic experiences, and relatable content. I’m drawn to the creativity behind it—how a single post, video, or story can build trust, spark conversation, and influence real decisions.

I also appreciate how dynamic and community-focused it is. Social media marketing adapts quickly to trends, feedback, and culture, making it a powerful way to reach specific audiences in an intentional way. The ability to measure impact in real time, build relationships, and grow a brand organically makes influencer marketing both strategic and meaningful to me.
