What strategies would you use to generate buzz for a vegan beauty brand?
I’d generate buzz by creating content that feels natural, honest, and routine-based rather than promotional! I’d show the product in my real daily skincare or makeup routine, talk through why I care about vegan and cruelty-free beauty, and highlight textures, results, and first impressions in a casual way. I’d lean into formats like GRWM, unboxing, before-and-after, and “things I look for in self-care products” videos. From experience, content that feels like a genuine recommendation from a friend performs better and helps build trust and excitement around the brand!

How do you engage an online community around a product launch?
I focus on making the community feel like they’re part of the launch, not just being sold to! From past experience, that looks like teasing the product ahead of time with behind-the-scenes content, involving real people instead of only polished Canva graphics, and giving followers something interactive to do like polls or question boxes. I’ve found that when people feel included early and see authentic, human content, they’re much more likely to engage and support the launch when it officially goes live!
