I haven’t formally conducted a demo yet, but I have strong experience engaging with people in customer-facing roles. I’m confident in my ability to create a welcoming experience, explain product benefits clearly, and encourage shoppers to interact with the product. While I haven’t done a demo at Whole Foods before, I am familiar with their stores and customers, and I’m excited about the opportunity to bring positive energy and professionalism to that environment.

How do you approach engaging with shoppers in a demo setting?

I approach engaging with shoppers in a demo setting by first creating a welcoming approachable atmosphere. I like to start with a friendly greeting and an open-ended question to spark interest without making the shopper feel pressured. From there, I focus on understanding their needs by observing their reactions and asking short, conversational questions. Once I know what might resonate with them, I highlight the product’s key benefits in a way that’s relevant to their lifestyle, and if possible, I encourage them to interact with the product directly—whether that’s tasting, testing, or experiencing it hands-on. I’ve found that people connect best when the interaction feels personal, fun, and informative, so I make sure to keep the tone positive and engaging while representing the brand authentically.
