How would you plan and execute a successful back-to-school giveaway event on a college campus?
First, I would work different on campus organizations to help me promote the giveaway. I’d send them flyer for them to repost on their stories to build hype and include information such as location and time and what people can win. Walking around on the mall would be a great way to also reach more people since the University of Maryland has the largest college mall in the nation. Making sure I have a cameraman to help me film content and making sure my microphones are working and that the people I’m filming are comfortable on camera can help everything go smoothly. I’ll definitely get my friends to be “bystanders” to make it look like there’s a crowd forming around the giveaway table, increasing FOMO levels so more people would want to check things out.
