Usually, individuals often tend to browse social media as a form of entertainment during their free time. By creating content that feels authentic, visually appealing, and aligned with current trends, brands can better capture users’ attention, encourage interaction, and ultimately build stronger connections with potential customers.

As a frequent social media user, I believe that the content of beauty brands feel more authentic and engaging when the application of the product is showcased within reels. This allows for the viewers to get a much clearer understanding of the product and how it is applied. This also includes trends that are going around and tailoring it to the brand. As a college student, I believe that GenZ looks more for relatable and authentic content, such as reviews or tips and tricks. It is important for the content to be relatable rather than a dry ad.
