I’m still in the early stages of building traction on my personal account since I started creating content barely a few weeks ago, but I’ve been intentional about how I approach content. Right now, I’m experimenting with different storytelling styles and formats, things like pacing, tone of voice, and combining visuals with spoken content, to see what keeps people engaged. For example, I’m currently creating content around beauty, but I’m also building my own Etsy shop where I design vector illustrations from scratch. So I’m starting to document that process and position it as a journey, combining lifestyle content with something I’m actually building. The idea is to test different formats while sharing something real, and then observe what people respond to in terms of engagement and storytelling.

I stay up to date with trends by looking a bit outside of the algorithm, because platforms usually show you what’s already popular, not what’s starting to emerge. I naturally spend time across different platforms, like TikTok, Instagram, but also Pinterest, e-commerce sites, and smaller creator spaces, and that helps me connect patterns earlier. Sometimes you’ll see something once on TikTok, but if you’ve already seen similar ideas elsewhere, you can tell it has potential to become a trend. I also pay attention to repetition, when similar formats, hooks, or editing styles start appearing more than once, that’s usually an early signal, and how I try to catch trends before they fully take off. I like saving and organizing content as well, grouping things by format, storytelling, or visuals, so I can go back to them and understand what works and how it could be adapted.
