Home From College
Full Time Role: Customer Success Coordinator
Why are you passionate about Home From College and why should we hire you?
I found Home From College through one of Julia Haber's LinkedIn posts during COVID. I subscribed immediately to receive emails from HFC, and I have been keeping an eye on emails regarding open roles since. In the beginning of my senior year of college, I decided to recruit for a consulting role, and I ended up accepting a position to start at KPMG in the fall of 2023. However, due to market conditions, I was told my cohort would no longer be able to start at KPMG, and this left me scrambling to find open jobs that met my goals and needs. Exhausting LinkedIn, Otta, Indeed, and other job sites, I found it more difficult than anticipated to find a job that aligned with what I was looking for. Just as I started to feel burnt out from my job search, I got a new email from HFC regarding new gigs. When I opened the email, I realized these were gigs that seemed much more accessible and personalized to someone like myself who had just graduated from college. I kept an eye on emails from HFC over the following months, and when I saw the Customer Success Coordinator position, I knew it was a role that aligned perfectly with my interests and that I am a great fit for. I have developed project management, multitasking, organization, and strategic problem solving skills from both college organizations and internship experience. I am newly out of college, and I am eager to have the experience of learning and developing new skills every day, especially within a growing organization like Home From College. Most importantly, I have had personal experience in understanding the value of Home From College as someone who has been on the job hunt, and I am excited to have the opportunity to work with both brands and GIG participants to foster success in the job and hiring search.

Please share an experience where you managed a project from beginning to end.
As a strategist for Rem and Company, I managed 3-4 month long consulting projects with small businesses and startups in the Nashville area that were struggling to keep their doors open. Leading a team of 3-4 other students on each client project, I was tasked with understanding the client's goals, tasking individual team members with the necessary deliverables, and keeping track of the project timeline to ensure the project wrapped up on time and adhered to client standards. Over the course of over two years, I managed three separate client projects across varying industries.
