I would mix in informative content and product reviews with humorous or sketch posts that follow the current trends. That way, attention can be grabbed through more trendy viral videos, while the rest of the page features further informative content about the brand.

How do you stay updated with social media trends?

The best way to stay alert to recent trends is to actually be present on social media and understand when something works, even before it goes “viral”. I see many brands constantly following trends, and the key is to do it fast enough when it is still relevant. What is relevant is information that one will only know by actually being present on social media and following rising trends.
