Can you share your experience in collaborating with influencers for brand partnerships?

Sure! As I mentioned, I recently worked as a marketing internship at Metafide and ran their social media. Reaching out to influencers in an industry where trust and transparency is irregular and needs to be worked 10x harder to earn was a rewarding challenge. I started with a spreadsheet of over 600 potential influencers, and from there reached out to all of them personally. From there, I was able to discuss terms provided by my supervisor, help address concerns and questions by the influencers, and connect a numerous account with our CEO to finalize partnerships. Especially during the height of promotion for launching the company's product, a cryptocurrency token called FIDE, we had countless influencers promoting and creating content regarding the launch, which sparked a lot of interaction and community growth from their own large communities.

How would you approach creating engaging social media content for a brand like Candier?

I've familiarized myself with Candier's products—and by extension, the brand's essence—with particular favoritism for the "Go Shawty It's Yo' Birthday", "Hot Cocoa & Cozy Cuddles", and "I'm Dreaming of a Pink Christmas" candles! To me, the brand personality resonates as self-expressive, cheeky, and confident, sophisticated product quality blending with playful style. I would establish a tone that is aligned to these characteristics, while continuing to the build on the cute and girly content that is used on Candier's Instagram and TikTok. I really like how personal the interns can get on the accounts to create a human connection with the followers, and how they can stay up to date with phrases like "girl math" that definitely resonate with the aesthetic of who the company is selling to. I also think there are a lot of influencers who currently fit the brand's aesthetic, who would be really beneficial to expanding the brand's promotion through social media. In past social media and marketing experience, I facilitated community interaction and created growth for a crypto startup called Metafide, where I found that the more involved I became with the community that the company was targeting, the more accurate my tone and content that I posted became. This created a lot of growth for what had been a small community before the launch of their first product, in addition to the influencers that I reached out to to create support for this growth.
