I stay updated on Instagram and TikTok trends by being an active user myself and paying close attention to what catches my eye as I scroll. I try to identify why certain content stands out compared to others. Whether it’s the hook, caption, sound choice, visual style, or overall tone, and how it drives engagement. This helps me understand what feels authentic and what actually resonates with audiences. I also follow a mix of creators and brands across beauty, lifestyle, and pop culture, and use those insights to inspire content ideas rather than copy trends directly. By combining daily platform use with a more analytical mindset, I’m able to stay current while thinking strategically about how trends can be adapted to fit a brand’s voice.

What attracts you to influencer and social media marketing?

What attracts me to influencer and social media marketing is how creative, fast-paced and people driven it is. I love how brands can build genuine connections through content and creators that makes it feel authentic rather than overdone. Social media allows brands to tell stories, spark emotion, and create communities which is something I’m really passionate about. I’m especially drawn to the strategy behind it, whether it be identifying the right creators, understanding trends, and turning insights into content that resonates with consumers. I enjoy collaborating, brainstorming ideas, and staying on top of TikTok and Instagram trends, and I find it exciting to see how creative ideas can directly drive engagement and brand growth.
