How do you stay updated on Instagram and TikTok trends?

I stay up to date on Instagram and TikTok trends by consistently tracking patterns in trending audios, formats, and memes used by brands and creators. I analyze how different brands adapt these trends to fit their own voice and objectives rather than using them at face value. For example, during the Wicked movie premiere, many brands leveraged trending audios and meme-style content tied to the film while it was the #1 trending topic. By aligning their content with a culturally relevant moment, brands were able to increase awareness and engagement while still maintaining brand consistency.

What attracts you to influencer and social media marketing?

I believe that social platforms shape how people discover brands, express identity, and feel represented. Influencer marketing has the power to make that connection feel personal rather than transactional between the brand and its consumer. Moreover, influencer and social media marketing gives people/ influencers the chance to express their creativity through the help of a brand.
