When contributing to Bitwarden, I submitted bug reports through GitHub. For the dropdown alignment issue I found, my report included a summary, steps to reproduce, expected vs actual behavior, environment, screenshots, and a code fix in my pull request.

I approach bug identification first by understanding the intended behavior, then testing systematically across different scenarios and environments. When I find an issue, I focus on reproducibility, documenting exact steps, expected vs. actual results, and environment details. As a part of my previous internship experience, I was responsible for identifying and documenting a bug our client was reporting, escalating it to the development team, and working with the client to give them the information they needed while fixing the bug.
