I started thrifting in Panama, I was lucky to have an amazing and huge thrift store right next door, and that's how I fell in love with sustainable fashion; the fact that I could find such unique pieces at a great price became a whole experience for me. My friends and I now sell the clothes we no longer wear on IG or exchange them among ourselves. Also, my family owns a small thrift store in town, which has been a truly interesting experience.
