Research and exposure to existing hooks is an important step in understand how to formulate a relevant hook for a video, especially one for a specific niche or genre. Brainstorming and thinking out loud is also crucial in my process as it allows to me understand how I myself could be hooked in if I were part of targeted audience. Testing possible hooks with close friends and families is also crucial.
