Why are you interested in becoming a Clio Snacks Lead Ambassador?

I’m interested in becoming a Clio Snacks Lead Ambassador because I love being involved on campus and connecting with different student groups. I already spend a lot of time in high-traffic spots through my work in sports media, WSSC, and intramural hockey, so sharing a product I genuinely like feels really natural. I enjoy talking to people, creating small moments of excitement, and helping students discover new things. I also like roles where I can give real feedback and represent a brand in an authentic way, so Clio feels like a great fit for my personality and campus involvement.

What clubs/organizations are you involved with at your school?

I’m involved in a few different clubs and organizations at Western. I’m part of the Western Mustangs Sports Media team, where I help with game-day photography, content creation, and digital storytelling for the football program. I’m also in Women in Fitness (WIF), which aligns with my interest in wellness and creative sports content. Outside of that, I play on Western intramural women’s hockey, and I’m actively involved in the Western Ski & Snowboard Club (WSSC). Across these roles, I get to combine my love for sports, media, and community involvement.

We'd love to get to know you, tell us a little bit about yourself (i.e what are you studying, what are your hobbies, what do you like to do on your free time, etc)

Hi! I’m Alanna, a second-year Media & Communications student at Western University with a strong focus on digital communication, sports media, and content creation. I’m super involved on campus; I help run social media and photography for the Western Mustangs Football team, I run a 2029 instagram account, and I play intramural women's hockey. I love creating digital content, whether that’s shooting game day photos, building websites for my courses, or working on brand-style projects for clubs and internships. Outside of school, I’m really active; I’ve played hockey my whole life, I’m part of the ski and snowboard community, and I love going to concerts, cottages, and summer festivals like VELD. I also love traveling (I recently studied Italian and did an international learning experience in Italy!), cooking, and making fun, aesthetic content for Instagram. I’m also really entrepreneurial and social-media-oriented. I love building my personal brand, creating engaging stories or carousels, and helping other students get involved in sports media or find opportunities. I’m always working toward something new, whether it’s campus creator roles, brand ambassadorships, or sports internships in London or Toronto. In my free time, you can usually find me editing photos, hanging out with friends, planning events, skating, or coming up with new content ideas.
