What's one creative way to engage with new and existing consumers?

For snack companies, creating a virtual ‘Palette board’ through an app would be a modern way to engage with new and existing customers. For new customers, the palette board would ask a short questions relating to the customers snack preferences (i.e: which snacks are their favorite, estimate of snacks consumed weekly, specific diet restrictions etc). The answers from these questions would help curate a palette board where consumers can quickly find their favorite snacks, and get recommendations based on user experience and mutual snack lovers (similar to Amazons “frequently bought together”). For returning customers, engagement is received solely through the recommendations provided based upon the users’ existing snack preferences, however, loyalty discounts could be provided when ordering through the app, or leaving a certain number of reviews/recommendations for snacks that go well together, giving users incentive to help the community with personal input on which snacks to buy together, while rewarding them with discounts.
