What adobe applications do you have experience with? Please elaborate.

Photoshop — This is probably my strongest. I use it for retouching product and campaign imagery, color correction, compositing, and preparing assets for both digital and print. In a beauty or skincare context, I’m comfortable with skin retouching that stays realistic and brand-appropriate.

Illustrator — I use this for vector-based work like logos, packaging mockups, iconography, and any design that needs to scale cleanly. It’s been especially useful when working on label design or marketing collateral.

How comfortable are you with providing detailed product feedback?

Very comfortable. Giving detailed product feedback is something I genuinely enjoy because it sits at the intersection of research, communication, and problem-solving. I’m the kind of person who doesn’t just say ‘this didn’t work’ — I try to articulate why, whether that’s a formulation issue, a mismatch with a certain skin type, or a gap between the marketing claim and the actual experience.

I’m comfortable breaking feedback down across multiple dimensions — efficacy, texture, scent, packaging, ingredient integrity, value — and adjusting the depth depending on the audience. Feedback for an R&D team looks different than feedback for a consumer-facing review or a brand strategy meeting.

I’ve also learned that the most useful feedback is both honest and constructive. It’s not about being harsh — it’s about being specific enough that the information is actually actionable.

What factors do you consider when reviewing a skincare product?

When I’m reviewing a skincare product, I look at a few key things. First, I check the ingredient list — I want to understand what’s actually in it, whether the active ingredients are backed by research, and if anything might cause irritation or conflict with other products. I also consider the formulation itself: the concentration of key ingredients matters just as much as their presence.

Beyond ingredients, I think about the product’s intended purpose and whether the claims are realistic and evidence-based — I’m skeptical of anything that overpromises. I look at texture, packaging (especially how well it preserves sensitive ingredients like vitamin C or retinol), and how it fits into a complete routine.

If I’m reviewing it for others, I also factor in skin type suitability, price-to-value ratio, and accessibility. And I always pay attention to real user feedback alongside clinical data — both tell different parts of the story
