How do you approach maintaining brand consistency in your designs?

For me, brand consistency is all about having a visual North Star. When I worked on my Senior Project and research websites in SquareSpace, I learned that you can’t just pick colors that look good in the moment, you have to stick to a specific system. I approach every design by first dissecting the brand’s DNA, like identifying the exact hex codes for their skin-tone-inclusive palette and the specific typography that makes them recognizable. In Canva, I like to set up Brand Kits so that every carousel or launch asset I create feels like it belongs to the same family. Especially for a brand like Pound Cake, where precision with lip and skin tones is everything, I make sure the color balance and vibe are identical across every platform. I want a customer to see a post on their feed and know it’s Pound Cake before they even see the logo! :)

What experience do you have creating social media graphics? Please be specific (portfolio link, link to graphics, etc.)

I’ve been designing on Canva for years, using it to bridge the gap between high-end digital art and functional marketing. Beyond social graphics, I have a lot of experience building full-scale websites on SquareSpace, which I’ve used for everything from personal research projects to my Senior Project in high school. That experience taught me how to keep branding consistent across different platforms, making sure the 'vibe' of a website matches the energy of a social media carousel. Because of my AP Art background and my psych studies at UCSC, I don’t just make things look pretty, I design with a focus on color theory (crucial for skin tones!) and how users actually interact with a page. I love taking complex ideas and turning them into clean, aesthetic visuals that feel professional but still super approachable :) Let me know if you are having any issues with the link! I am happy to help.

Man Cereal

Social Media Content Creator for Man Cereal

Share a funny video concept for Man Cereal.

I’d do a 7-second POV video using that super-distorted, slowed-down "phonk" music. It’s just a funny clip/scene from a well-known movie, but I’ve edited it so the actors' eyes are glowing green (Man Cereal colors) and they're staring intensely at a bowl of cereal on the treadmill. The caption would be something like: "Me at 3 AM explaining to the gym ghost that creatine cereal is a fundamental human right." The whole video would be slightly slowed-down with a repeating (double) screen effect every time the bass drops. It’s totally nonsensical, but it hits that specific "absurdist gym humor" that gets shared a million times on Reels and TikTok. It shows I know how to use my digital art skills for more than just "pretty' things", I can use them to make something that looks like a fever dream but makes the brand look legendary.
