How do you build rapport with someone you've never met over DM?
I try to keep it simple and genuine. I wouldn’t jump straight into a pitch instead I’d start by engaging with their content a bit so there’s some familiarity first. When I do message them, I keep it personal and relevant mentioning something specific about their brand or what they’re doing, so it doesn’t feel like a copy paste message. The goal is just to start a normal conversation, not sell immediately. Once there’s a bit of comfort and back and forth, it’s much easier to introduce an idea or opportunity in a way that feels natural.

How would you use social media to build relationships with businesses and get them excited about a brand?
I’d focus on making the brand visible in a way that businesses can actually see the value for themselves. That means creating content that shows how the product fits into real settings like gyms, cafés, or everyday routines so it feels relevant and not just promotional. I’d also engage directly with businesses on social media commenting, interacting with their content, and building familiarity before reaching out. That way it doesn’t feel like a cold pitch, but more like a natural connection. Once there’s some awareness, I’d reach out in a simple, personal way keeping it clear, friendly, and focused on why it could be a good fit for their customers. I think combining content with genuine interaction is what makes businesses actually interested.

How would you talk about the App to encourage people on your campus to sign up? What would you say?
I’d keep it super casual and just talk about it like I’m putting someone onto something useful. I’d probably say something like: “Hey, I found this app where you can actually get paid to work with brands and try out small gigs—it’s pretty easy to get started too.” Then if they’re interested, I’d explain a bit more about how it works and how it could actually help them, especially if they’re looking for side income or experience. I think the key is not making it feel like a pitch, just more like sharing something that’s genuinely useful.
