I focus on the real-life texture. Instead of following a brief like a script, I lean into natural lighting, messy desks, or a candid POV that feels like a friend’s recommendation. I make sure the transitions are snappy but not over-produced, so the book feels like a genuine part of a lifestyle rather than a polished product placement.

I analyze the specific subculture first. For a book brand, that means tapping into the 'BookTok' aesthetic using high-contrast text overlays, 'oddly satisfying' page flips, or a polarizing question that demands a comment. I treat the first 2 seconds as a visual and mental pattern interrupt so people feel like they just stumbled onto a secret or a must-read recommendation.
