Do you feel stronger creating static posts (single photos or photo carousels), video content, or both? Why?

I feel strongest creating photo posts and carousels because I love capturing pictures and small snippets of memories that tell a story in a really natural, visual way. I enjoy curating a series of images that feel cohesive and personal, like a snapshot of my day, while still being fashion-forward and intentional. That said, I’m also very comfortable creating video content. I enjoy using video when it helps bring an outfit to life through movement, transitions, or quick lifestyle moments. Being able to work confidently in both formats allows me to choose the medium that best fits the story I’m telling, while keeping the content authentic and engaging for my audience.

How would you create Nuuly content in your everyday college life? Walk us through how you’d style and showcase one Nuuly rental across a full day (ex: class, errands, going out).

I’d create Nuuly content by showing how one rental seamlessly fits into a full, real college day, styled once, then reworked as my day evolves. My goal would be to make the content feel effortless and relatable, like a “day in my life” rather than a traditional fashion post. For example, I’d start the morning getting ready for class and style one Nuuly piece as the foundation of my outfit, let’s say a statement jacket or versatile dress. I’d film a quick GRWM or mirror clip showing how I style it casually for class with sneakers, a tote bag, and minimal jewelry. This would be paired with clips of walking across campus, sitting in lecture, or grabbing coffee with friends, highlighting how wearable and comfortable the piece is for everyday student life. Later in the day, I’d show how I transition the same Nuuly rental for errands or studying, maybe swapping shoes, adding sunglasses, or layering differently. I’d capture quick lifestyle moments like studying at the library, running errands, or heading to a meeting, emphasizing how easy it is to restyle the same piece without changing my entire outfit. To end the day, I’d elevate the look for a night out or social plans, switching to boots or heels, adding bolder accessories, and filming a short “outfit transition” clip. This would show how Nuuly makes it easy to have one standout piece that works for multiple parts of a busy college day, without overconsumption or stress. Throughout the content, I’d keep everything natural and unfiltered. Including short clips, voiceovers, or text overlays explaining why I chose the piece and how Nuuly fits into my lifestyle as a college student who wants to stay fashionable without constantly buying new clothes. The end result would feel personal, practical, and aspirational, while clearly showing how Nuuly rentals work in real life.
