What is an app or website you use that could be improved? What would you like to change to improve to make the experience more enjoyable for you?
As a book lover, I have to remember Goodreads.
Goodreads is an app now owned by Amazon and it's dedicated to tracking reads and sharing them with the community we build.
As an app that in 2019 had around 90 million users (Netflix had around 150 million users), we would predict that it would be really well designed and branded.
Sadly is not, and it's also suffering for it while it slowly loses users to well-developed apps.
If I had to suggest improvement to it I would say using AI to suggest books, I would also invest in the consolidation of the community of app users and create more engagement between the app and the user, while the design and usability would have to be rethought for a more light and enjoyable use of it.
What's your favorite brand right now & why?
Would have to say Formula 1 as a brand itself. The marketing around it and around the teams is absolutely incredible.
If it's too vague, I would have to say Mclaren F1 Team as a brand, the clothing design and the communication itself is very good, bringing a bit of the vintage European vibes to a really young and rich public.
Poparazzi

If you were the marketing manager for Poparazzi, describe where you would focus the majority of your resources for a fall launch on your campus?
If you go to Google trends and search for Poparazzi worldwide in the last year you would notice that we don't see much engagement in Portugal.
Once i'm preparing a launch campaigns for my campus i would say to divide the resources in 6 equal parts.
Poparazzi is not know in Portugal so lets build up some suspense, start with stickers and a strong game with posters with just tag lines (not giving the name, just descriptions and a date for launching), put them in the inside doors of the bathrooms, in the trays in canteens - spend 3 of the 6 parts of the resources here (people, money, ads, etc)
Build some presence online and a lot of doubt and mistery in the campus community. An online event with a bit more info would be something cool, just giving some tips, not much.
Prepare a count down game until the launch, small events and a discovery game for new pieces, prepare for the online push, and when the moment comes we will have the engage and the reaction we need.- Lets spend the ether 2 of the 6 parts here, leaving 1 equal part for the launch it self.
Mistery is key to sell anything, specialy in Portugal.
