Interview Questions
Homie
Homie Campus Ambassador

Can you share a past experience where you successfully organized an event to promote a product or service?
In the past, I’ve served as a brand ambassador for multiple companies. One notable example was my work with Hero Cosmetics, where I organized and hosted a multi-day activation on campus to promote their skincare products. I set up tabling events in high-traffic areas, distributed samples, engaged students in conversations about skincare, and facilitated social media challenges to boost digital engagement. I also collaborated with student organizations to co-host mini self-care nights, incorporating Hero products, creating memorable experiences tied to the brand. These efforts increased product awareness, high sample distribution, and a noticeable boost in campus interest and online engagement for Hero Cosmetics.

How would you approach promoting Homie to your peers on campus?
To effectively promote Homie on campus, I would take a multi-pronged approach rooted in peer engagement, strategic visibility, and mission-driven storytelling. I would begin by leveraging my existing networks such as student organizations, classes, and social circles to introduce Homie in authentic, relatable ways. By sharing how Homie empowers individuals to take control of their data, I can spark meaningful conversations that build trust and interest. Additionally, I would partner with student government, tech clubs, entrepreneurship hubs, and culturally focused organizations to co-host events, workshops, and tabling opportunities that increase visibility and drive new user sign-ups. My goal would be to make Homie not just a platform students hear about, but one they actively connect with and champion as part of a broader movement for data agency.
