Female Founder World
Content Marketing & Event Intern
What's one content area of opportunity you'd first implement after starting this position?
Tiktok is my personal favorite and most used social media platform. To be successful on Tiktok consistency is key. Using relevant sounds and participating in viral trends also helps. Female Founder World is all about the female entrepreneur. In order to build that community on Tiktok I think it is important to represent these female entrepreneurs on your accounts as much as possible. Those that are scrolling on their FYP and come across a video you have posted most likely have little to no idea about the brand, and there is only a few seconds of opportunity to draw them in. Minimum once a week a different member of the Female Founder group chat or attendees of events you have hosted can be highlighted on the Tiktok account. Who better to spread the word and bring people into the community than those who are already a part of it. They can create a video answering FAQ's or talking about their experience attending an event. This can help create a closer relationship between the viewers and the brand.

Please share any relevant past experience making you qualified for this role.
Currently I am the Social Media & Marketing Manager Intern at Musee Magazine. In this role I am in charge of all social media accounts for the magazine. I report to and work directly with the founder and editor-in-chief to strategize new ways to successfully market the magazine. I select and reach out to photographers/artists to coordinate Instagram takeovers on a weekly basis. I also utilize Tik Tok to expand our audience and increase traffic on the website. This past year I worked as a Sales Associate at Athleta. It allowed me to gain important skills such as effectively working with a team to reach sales goals. At the same time I improved my customer service and communication skills by interacting with customers on a daily basis to ensure their needs were met. In November 2022 I completed a short course at University of the Arts London in Art Direction. This was an amazing experience that taught me so much. My professor taught us how to exercise and strengthen our creativity like it is a muscle. We learned the correct way to advertise and create a campaign in magazines and media. I also was able to meet and work with women from all over the world and gain so much new perspective and insight from them.

What do you consider when purchasing from a new brand?
One of the most important thing for me when purchasing from a new brand is if I feel the brand has a positive community of customers that genuinely loves the brand and its values.
