How would you promote ThingsBook to a new audience and get them to download?
I would promote ThingsBook by leveraging the large communities I’m already involved in on campus and creating interactive, content-driven events around the app. By hosting crossover events with organizations I’m part of in high-traffic areas like Bruin Walk at UCLA, we can introduce the app not only to club members but also to the broader student body passing by. These events could include things like creative scrapbooking or journaling stations that connect directly to the idea of organizing and documenting your “things.” During the events, attendees would be encouraged to download the app on the spot and participate in content creation, filming TikToks, Reels, and stories, so the promotion extends beyond the physical event and spreads organically through student social networks.
