Do you live near a walmart?

I do not live in close proximity to a Walmart in Berkeley. I live near several other stores including: Target, Safeway, Whole Foods, Walgreens, Berkeley Bowl, and Trader Joe’s. At my other home location I do live in close proximity to a Walmart.

How do you hook viewers in the first 3 seconds of a retail video?

I would hook viewers in the first three seconds by showing the product in action right away, highlighting a relatable problem or benefit, and using strong visuals or text that instantly grabs attention.

How would you create engaging retail content ?

I would create engaging retail content by focusing on what appeals to college students. I’d highlight products in everyday settings, like dorm rooms or shared spaces, so customers can easily picture how they’d use the product. I’d use short-form content such as photos and videos, keeping the messaging clear and relatable rather than overly promotional. I’d also pay attention to trends and seasonal needs, like move-in time or exam periods, this helps keep content relevant. Finally, I’d track what performs best and adjust the content to keep it engaging and aligned with the brand’s style.
