Interview Questions

Neon

One hour recorded noisy phone convo in English

Neon Profile Image

Can you comfortably have a conversation in a noisy setting?

Noise has pretty much been the background of my entire life. I grew up doing homework in a loud house where someone was always on the phone, cooking, or talking over the TV, so I learned early how to focus and keep a normal conversation going even with constant distractions. College added its own layer of chaos, roommates, crowded hallways, study groups, campus events, and I’m around students all day, so talking through noise just feels normal to me at this point. I even lived in New York for a few months, which taught me very quickly how to tune things out and stay present in a conversation no matter what’s happening around me. Because of all that, being in a noisy environment doesn’t throw me off. I can stay engaged, focused, and conversational even when there’s a lot happening in the background.

Have you ever reviewed a nutrition or wellness product before?

Whenever I’m deciding whether to buy something, the first thing I check is the reviews, especially the ones with photos. Since I rely on them so much, I try to review most of the things I buy and include pictures that actually show what the product is like. I’m a big shopper, so it’s become second nature to take close-ups of fabric, colors, or fit so other people don’t get surprised by something that looks different in person. Most of what I review is clothing (Princess Polly, Fashion Nova, PrettyLittleThing, etc.), but I’ve also reviewed a few wellness and nutrition products I’ve tried, like Bloom, Nello, and some athletic wear/fitness items on Amazon. I haven’t done product reviews in a creator-style setting yet, I just like helping other women and college students make better decisions, the same way I rely on others’ reviews when I shop.
