Encha is an organic Japanese matcha brand, and we want to get our matcha onto more cafe menus.
You'll visit 10 independent cafes near you that serve matcha, drop off samples with the owner or manager, and introduce them to Encha's wholesale matcha. Starting about two weeks later, you'll follow up with each cafe twice, ideally at least once in person, to see how they liked it and whether they'd like to order. You won't take orders or quote prices - cafes order through wholesale@encha.com using your referral code.
We'll send you 20 bags of Sweetened Matcha Latte (500g), Ceremonial Latte samples, one-pagers and your referral code. Each cafe gets a bag, a sample and a one-pager. Drop the 10 extra bags at other cafes or enjoy them with friends - they just can't be sold.
Ideally you love matcha, know your local cafes, and are comfortable starting a conversation with an owner. We'll send you talking points before you go.
About 12-15 hours over 6 weeks, with drop-offs in the first 3. $250 total ($125 after drop-offs, $125 after follow-ups), plus a bonus for every cafe whose first order is $250 or more by 31 Dec: $50, or 10% of the order if higher (up to $300).
Expected Outputs
Samples and a one-pager left at 10 cafes with the owner or manager, not a barista on shift.
Two follow-ups with each cafe, starting about two weeks after the drop-off (ideally at least one in person), noting whether they tried it, what they thought, and whether they want to order. A
A named contact at each cafe (email or Instagram), plus your referral code passed on so we can credit you for orders.
