You will receive a 1099-NEC tax form through Stripe if you make more than $600 total on the Home From College platform in a calendar year. For more information, click here.
If you qualify for a 1099 form from Stripe, you should receive it by January 31st of the year following the tax year for which the form is issued.
Your 1099 tax form will be located in the Tax Forms tab of Stripe Express.
If you think you should have received a 1099 form and have yet to receive one, check Stripeās information here.
The information (name, address, etc.) you entered to your Stripe account is what will appear on your tax forms.
Please contact Stripe support for further information on how to pay taxes as an international user.
For additional questions please reach out to gig@homefromcollege.com or the H\FC Bestie chat.
