Final Year Project- A state-of-the-art method to harness wind energy: floating wind turbines. Brief: Worked alone during the pandemic with my supervisor guiding me as the topic above was allocated to me. The objective aim was to research and develop a project on the modern way to utilize wind energy: floating wind turbines. Several conceptual designs of floating platforms used for floating wind turbines are described and working principles of several floaters are outlined.
