<p>A criminology student at the University of Ottawa, part of the Faculty of Social Sciences, studies crime, justice, and social responses through a social science lens. In class, students build skills in critical thinking, criminological theory, and research to better understand how and why crime happens. Outside the classroom, they can join clubs, associations, and study groups to connect with others and get involved on campus. Many students go on to work in law, politics, social services, or pursue further studies in graduate or professional programs.</p>

French Studies Bursary (2024) - Awarded to anglophone students pursuing studies in French as a second language. ORAC Scholarship (2024) - Awarded to students associated with ORAC to aid in pursuing postsecondary studies. uOttawa Bursary for Postsecondary Studies in FSL (2024) - Awarded to anglophone students by the University of Ottawa to undergraduate students pursuing their degree within the French Immersion stream.

The Dual Credit program is intended to provide Barrie secondary school students with the opportunity to study college-level courses, whilst still in high school.

Ontario Scholar - Earned by students who maintain an average grade above 80% in six of their twelfth grade classes. St. Peter’s Honour Roll Student from 2020 - 2023. Innisfil Citizen’s Award - Awarded to an Innisfil student who demonstrates incredible community service. St. Peter’s CSS French Award - Given to students who complete all four levels of Core French.
