<p>I am currently in my third year, majoring in Gender Studies, an interdisciplinary field that explores gender identity, gendered representations, and the social construction of gender. The program delves into the ways in which gender intersects with various aspects of society, such as power, culture, and inequality. It critically examines the challenges and advantages faced by individuals from marginalized communities, including people of color, those with mental disabilities, and individuals affected by ableism, while also considering how these intersections shape lived experiences and societal structures.</p>
