Who Can Apply to GIGs? (For STUDENTS)

Before you start applying to and participating in GIGs, make sure you’re eligible if you fall into one of the following categories.

🌎 Can international students apply to GIGs?

Yes, you can be an international and apply to GIGs, but make sure the specific listing does not have any regional or location requirements.

You will also need to ensure that Stripe, the payment platform, works in your country.

Current supported countries include: United States, United Arab Emirates, Antigua and Barbuda, Albania, Armenia, Argentina, Austria, Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bolivia, Botswana, Canada, Switzerland, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Egypt, Spain, Finland, France, United Kingdom, Greece, Hong Kong SAR China, Croatia, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Iceland, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, Mexico, Nigeria, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Paraguay, Romania, Sweden, Singapore, Slovenia, Slovakia, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, Uruguay.

If your country is not supported by Stripe, unfortunately you will not be able to be paid and therefore cannot apply to GIGs.

🎒 Can high school students apply to GIGs?

Yes, you can be in high school and apply to GIGs, but make sure the specific listing does not have any school or age requirements.

Please check Stripe, the payment platform, for their age requirements here if you are under 18.

🎓 Do I need to be currently in college to apply to a GIG?

No, you do not need to be currently enrolled in college to apply to GIGs, but make sure the specific listing does not have any school or graduation requirements.

🏫 Do I need to have gone to college at all to apply to a GIG?
