Share a time when you've been able to mobilize a group of people around a product, service, or cause you feel passionate about?

When I worked at Bath & Body Works for the Candle Day period, many people came for one candle and one candle only: Strawberry Shortcake. Because of this, it sold out within a few hours at my store. This meant we had to turn customers away because they came for a certain candle. Me being the perfect sales support, I wanted to make sure that customers did not go home empty-handed after standing in line for hours on end. There were plenty of other scented candles on the shelves, but any candle a customer had their eye on, but seemed hesitant to buy, I stepped in and provided my personal experience with that product.

What gets you excited about working in the beauty industry?

What excites me most about the beauty industry is self-care because it is important. I struggled a lot with perceptive issues, mainly because I lacked self-care. I started to use skincare as a way to help with these issues and over the years I have achieved a great routine and mindset. That is the pivotal thing about the beauty industry is that it serves as self-care.

I believe keywords help a candidate stand out in the market. Having something on your resume that someone else lacks brings more attention to your resume.
