For me some important considerations are purpose and functionality, quality, durability, if it is user friendly and intuitive ( easy to set up or install), if it delivers the desired outcome efficiently and effectively, if it is visual appealing and aesthetically pleasing, value for price and enviromental impact.

Glossier has a great media presence, they have a clean and minimalistic aesthetic through out all their social media presence wich makes them easy to recognize, they're inclusive and diverse with a strong media presence with interactive campaigns and challenges, where they encourage users to share their expiriences wich also promote diverse beauty standards.
