Why are you passionate about reproductive rights and Hey Jane's mission?

'm passionate because access to reproductive care is essential healthcare. Hey Jane’s mission to make medication abortion safe, private, and accessible speaks directly to the kind of compassionate, stigma-free care everyone deserves—especially in the face of growing restrictions.

Can you describe a time when you had to promote a sensitive topic in a public setting? -- How would you approach a situation where an attendee is hesitant to take a condom?

At a campus health fair, I helped run a booth that promoted STI testing and safe sex practices. Many students were hesitant to approach, so I used approachable language, humor, and inclusive materials to make the space feel welcoming and stigma-free. I'd respect their comfort level and casually remind them that it's free, discreet, and doesn’t mean they have to use it right away—just good to have. I’d normalize it by saying, “Lots of people grab one just in case—it’s always better to be prepared.”
