During my time at UMD, I have taken a wide range of courses that have helped me develop my skills as an actor and performer.
In addition to studying acting techniques, I have also learned about theatre history, stage design, costume design, and stage management. I have had the opportunity to perform in a number of productions, including plays, musicals, and devised pieces.
One of the unique aspects of the Theatre program at UMD is its emphasis on collaboration and interdisciplinary work. I have had the chance to collaborate with students and faculty from other departments, such as music and dance, which has helped me develop a broader understanding of the performing arts.
I have also gained practical experience through internships and work-study programs. For example, I have worked as a stagehand for UMD's School of Music and as a production assistant for a local theatre company.
Overall, my education at UMD has provided me with a strong foundation in theatre and the performing arts. I am confident that the skills and experiences I have gained will serve me well as I pursue a career in acting.

I'm a UMD student pursuing a BA in Communications with a Business minor. I've developed skills in written, oral, and visual communication, tailored messages to audiences, and studied media's impact on society. My Business courses covered strategies, financial analysis, and marketing tactics, and I worked on projects and completed a marketing internship. In student organizations, I gained leadership experience and networking opportunities. I believe my UMD education prepared me well for a corporate career and I'm eager to contribute to your company's success.

In the fall I will attend the #3 school MFA Acting program in the world. UCSD only accepts 8 people a year to this program out of thousands of applicants.
