I'm a business major in the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. I've grown up actively engaged in the arts (graphic design, painting, etc.) and played tennis competitively. I'm passionate about investing and love reading articles about the markets. As a senior in college taking 6 credits next semester, I am eager to get involved in small projects and take on a lot of responsibility!

What role does journaling play in your life?

I was never a big journaler until 5 months ago. I took a Public Health class, "How to Live a Good Life: Finding Purpose", and at the beginning of each discussion we would spend 10 minutes journaling. I found this weekly activity to be relaxing, and very validating of my feelings. After the class ended, I decided to take this new lifestyle habit with me and ingrained it into my daily life. Now, I find journaling to not only keep me organized but also act as a sounding board for my life. My life has been extremely busy in January, which naturally leads to more stress, but I have found that journaling has taken away all my anxiety. As a senior graduating this year, journaling has kept me stable and I love the environment that it is associated with.

How would you launch a new app on a college campus?

On my college campus, we have seen the success of LineLeap, which is an app used to get into bars. A huge incentive for people to use it is the deals and specials provided through the app that make using it an incredibly easy process. Thus, ensuring that the app is able to integrate into the daily lives of individuals who are busy in college, and garnering awareness through groups will be incredibly important.
