The beauty industry has since boomed in the most recent years especially after influencers on social media apps such as Youtube, Instagram, Facebook,, and now Tik Tok have been reviewing every new product on the market! I get excited working in the beauty industry as a former cosmetologist because it is always growing as new fashion trends come and go. I enjoy working in an industry that has something for everyone.

My favorite marketing campaign has been not exclusive to one company but rather several that have taken advantage of social media such as Tik Tok. Many times you don’t notice you are even watching a marketing piece but rather just another funny/ informative video, and in turn it garners my interest to be influenced and consider buying their products. Examples of this would be Scrub Daddy, Dr.Miami, Duolingo etc…

There was a time where a couple of colleagues and I organized together to create a nonprofit organization to go into middle schools in underserving communities in our city and provide them with resources to help them continue their education after public school (12th grade levels). We created a screening process to try and gather the correct candidates qualified for the positions as well as created committees, each with their respective duties to create success in our organization. Some examples of that include, programming, sponsorship, mentorship etc…
